Roseview Guest Cottage was created for people who travel with intention. Diplomats, professionals, corporate teams and curious individuals who value privacy, quality and a genuine sense of place. It is not a hotel. It is not a room in someone’s house. It is a spacious, beautifully maintained private cottage in one of Pretoria’s finest neighbourhoods – and it is entirely yours for the duration of your stay.

The Cottage

Set within a distinguished Waterkloof Ridge property, the cottage occupies its own footprint with a private entrance, a fully equipped self-catering kitchen, two comfortable bedrooms, a well-appointed bathroom with both bath and shower, a generous living and dining area, and a balcony that looks out over a magnificently landscaped garden.

The interior has been designed to feel both refined and lived-in – spacious enough to breathe, warm enough to feel like home. High-quality linen, premium mattresses, air conditioning throughout, a well-stocked kitchen and complimentary coffee and tea set the tone from the moment you arrive.

The cottage is fully self-contained. Guests have no access to the main residence or surrounding grounds, ensuring complete privacy for everyone.

The Location

Waterkloof Ridge is one of Pretoria’s most sought-after addresses – leafy, quiet and exceptionally well-located. You are a short walk from Brasserie de Paris, one of the city’s finest French dining experiences, and the Pretoria Country Club, home to a respected golf course and the excellent Blu Saffron restaurant.

A short drive takes you to the Milner Street Restaurant Block, where you’ll find the Tasting Room, Villa Barranco, Moka Social Club and the wonderfully whimsical Alice in Waterkloof. Further afield, the Hazelwood Cultural Food Hub is a destination in its own right – a concentrated hub of some of South Africa’s best food, anchored by the Pantry Hazelwood Village, the flagship Pantry Store from the Marble Group by celebrated chef David Higgs and partners.

Our Host

Louri manages Roseview with the kind of warmth and attentiveness that guests consistently notice and remember. A Pretoria native with a lifelong curiosity about the world – its people, its places, its ideas – he brings a genuine enthusiasm to hosting that goes beyond simply handing over the keys.

Whether you need a restaurant recommendation, a tip about the neighbourhood, or simply someone who’s happy to share what makes Pretoria worth knowing, Louri is genuinely that host. He will not offer you a generic checklist – he will offer you his own experience of the city, honestly and generously.

Bedroom One

A spacious, well-proportioned room dressed for a proper night’s rest. The queen bed is made up with high-quality linen that guests consistently single out – crisp, comfortable and a genuine pleasure to climb into after a long day. Natural light fills the room during the day, while blackout curtains ensure the kind of deep, uninterrupted sleep that travel rarely affords. Air conditioning keeps the temperature exactly where you want it, and a flat-screen TV is there when you feel like winding down before bed.

Bedroom Two

Equally spacious and just as considered as the first, the second bedroom offers a queen bed, premium linen and restful atmosphere.
